Overview: Music Workshop, a leading nonprofit organization that empowers students and educators through music, seeks a dynamic and results-driven Educational Outreach Manager. This role will expand our reach by building and maintaining strong relationships with school districts, education service districts, administrators, and teachers while driving sales of our fee-based professional development… programs and other fee-based products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in education sales and a passion for advancing music education and integration in schools.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Generation:
? Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to promote and sell Music Workshop?s fee-based professional development programs to school districts, administrators, schools, and teachers in the U.S. and Canada
? Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, contributing directly to the organization?s financial sustainability goals.
? Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling to existing customers.
? Identify corporate sponsorship opportunities to underwrite additional fee-based programming.
Relationship Management:
? Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including school district leaders, principals, administrators, and educators.
? Serve as the primary point of contact for schools and districts, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or needs.
? Develop and implement strategies to deepen engagement with current partners and expand our network of educational contacts.
Outreach and Marketing:
? Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute targeted outreach campaigns to increase awareness and adoption of Music Workshop?s programs.
? Represent Music Workshop at educational conferences, workshops, and events to promote our offerings and build relationships with potential clients.
? Coordinate and deliver presentations and demonstrations of our programs to district leaders, school boards, and other key decision-makers.
Data Management and Reporting:
? Track and analyze sales data, outreach efforts, and relationship management activities to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
? Provide regular reports on sales performance, outreach activities, and client feedback to the Director of Development and Partnerships.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
? Work closely with the program development team to provide feedback from educators and administrators, ensuring our programs meet their needs and expectations.
? Partner with the Director of Development and Partnerships to align sales goals with the organization?s broader development and fundraising strategies.
? Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
? Bachelor?s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
? Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in education sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
? Experience working with school districts, administrators, and educators is essential.
Skills and Competencies:
? Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
? Excellent relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
? Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
? Proficiency in CRM software, Canva, Asana, and Google Workspace.
? Ability to travel via car, train and air
? Must have a valid driver?s license
? Demonstrate strong abilities with technology skills including abilities to use all presentation software and hardware (PC or Mac, and 1:1 devices) to develop and deliver engaging multimedia presentations both virtually and in-person
