About the job
Our first hire in our Growth Marketing department will be our Director of Growth Marketing and responsible for helping deliver on revenue and growth objectives, scaling our customer acquisition and retention efforts, and eventually building out our marketing team.
This position will focus on planning and executing data-driven customer acquisition campaigns across paid media channels, as well as creating meaningful CRM strategy across email and SMS.
The Job:
? Define the Performance Marketing agenda, accelerating revenue and growth against forecasts month-over-month and year-over-year. Measure and optimize our customer growth strategies, surface new opportunities, and increase effectiveness and ROAS of marketing programs.
? Deliver channel excellence across all programs including SEM, Social Advertising, Affiliate, Re-Targeting, Email/SMS Acquisition, Platform Ecosystems, Programmatic, etc.
? Evaluate all partners through test and learn programs, develop roadmaps for all our key channels that will add competitive advantage, scale to our campaigns, and enhance revenue performance.
? Be audience obsessed, partnering closely with CRM and CX peers to drive segmentation approaches and products to serve & surprise consumers.
? Have a test-and-learn mentality, with a deep understanding of incrementality, brand lift, match market, MTA, MMM, and other methodologies that help prove marketing investment is working.
? Push our advertising creative forward, oversee creative briefs to ensure we are leveraging best practices, native features, and result in best in class creative work.
? Foster cross-functional partnership with Sales and Customer Success to optimize business results and beat growth targets.
What You’ll Need:
? 3+ years of Performance Marketing experience across multiple DTC and or B2B channels.
? Track record of driving results and innovation with complex lead funnels, subscriptions and membership, and/or in scaling start-up environments (brand and/or agency side experience welcome).
? Strong knowledge of key ad and martech platforms for marketing and media channels.
? Strong knowledge of marketing and media KPIs, data and analytics.
? A history of people management, with 1-3 direct reports.
? BA degree or equivalent experience required.
? Experience with lead funnels, subscription businesses, and/or start-ups entering competitive markets.
? Ability to identify the metrics to drive success, measure KPIs, socialize understanding and drive initiatives to completion; ability to transform data into easily understandable & highly actionable insights.
? Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and planning skills; demonstrated success in influencing various stakeholders.
? Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment with evolving priorities and business needs.
Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000 base.
