About the Role
If you have a knowledge and passion for plants, love to learn and continuously improve, and enjoy the sales experience and working with others, then we would love for you to join our team. We are seeking a regional Account Manager for our Lowe?s account. As a Lowe?s Account Manager you will develop and maintain business relationships with Lowe?s Merchandising Managers and Store Associates to manage your assigned region to achieve profitable sales goals and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This job may be performed remotely within the contiguous 48 states with accessibility to a major airport.
What You?ll Do
You?ll?

maintain an excellent relationship with Lowe?s Merchandising Managers by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; resolving any shipping or credit issues; and recommending profit and service improvements on a weekly basis.
collect and analyze data to forecast store orders, trends, opportunities and manage stores? inventory.
enter orders in Oracle Cloud Sales.
perform an annual review of SKU and store performance with merchants.
communicate effectively and efficiently internally as well as with your Lowe?s team resolving any issues that may occur.
work with the Lowe?s Senior Account Manager to prepare biennial offering and quote.
travel to and attend Lowe?s store events and market visits at the request of Lowe?s merchants, as well as to other Monrovia nurseries as required.

Who You Are

Ideally, you have sales experience in the horticultural marketplace and/or sales management experience in the garden center industry
You have plant knowledge or at minimum the ability to learn the horticultural industry sufficiently to communicate and negotiate with external stakeholders as necessary
You are proficient in the Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, BI) and working within our Oracle Cloud Sales
You demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
You are able to audit your own work, prioritize and complete multiple tasks with good follow-up
You are willing to serve as an active team player
You have a high tolerance for ambiguity, uncertainty, and diversity in the workplace
Although you are not typically exposed to weather conditions, on occasion you may be required to travel to a store for plant stocking and creation of merchandise displays and will be exposed to weather conditions.
You are able to maneuver around the office and nursery, work on a computer, utilizing specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, and work with a telephone, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Benefits at Monrovia

You will be paid a base salary between $80,000 to $90,000 based on experience, plus an additional bonus potential.
